Prototype production –

We carry out prototype production for functional prototypes – and 3D parts with short lead times and high dimensional accuracy. Core competencies are 3D milling and simultaneous milling on modern 5-axis systems, supplemented by assembly, testing and documented quality. The objective is a robust sample, which undergoes seamless testing and a45> validation into zero-series production without any problems.

3D milling machine & simultaneous milling machine

Free-form surfaces, deep cavities, undercuts: 3D milling and 5-axis simultaneous milling produce precise surfaces and stable shape/position values. By minimising re-clamping, we ensure the best possible repeat accuracy – ideal for functionally critical samples.

 & Functional model

Whether extremely thin-walled milled housings, holders, carriers or complex internal geometries: we manufacture functionally appropriate products with defined sealing and reference surfaces, clean machine-chamfered edges and assembly-friendly designs. On request, you can receive near-series samples in the original material, with assembled threaded inserts, sealing grooves, fits and surfaces according to specification.

Process chain:
From prototype to pre-production run production

From the initial idea to the pre-production run production we accompany you iteratively:

  • DFM check: feasibility (radii, wall thicknesses, tool accessibility) and tolerance concept
  • Manufacturing: 3D parts using 5-axis CAM programmes, suitable clamping devices/references
  • Finish: deburring, defined roughness, marking
  • Inspection: measurement-relevant characteristics according to plan, 100% measurement via coordinate measuring machine if necessary
  • Approvals: Initial sample/functional tests, packaging in accordance with specifications
  • Scaling: Stabilisation of the processes for pre-series/series transition

Reverse engineering and optimising components

No complete 3D model available? Using reverse engineering we reconstruct geometries from samples or measurement data. Changes from tests are implemented by us at short notice – this enables us to a19> components optimise, weight reduce, simplify manufacturing or improve sealing concepts . Iteration loops are clearly documented, so that decisions remain traceable .

Quality & Certificates: 100% Surveying

Precision is verifiable. We define test plans, measure critical dimensions tactilely/optically and, on request, provide a coordinated initial sample test report or even 100% measurement on a measuring machine. You receive the results as a measurement report with reference surfaces, temperature data and measuring equipment references. This is how we create transparency for internal/external approvals.

Documentation & handover:
Parts with accompanying documentation

On request, you will receive parts with accompanying documentation – e.g. measurement reports, material/batch certificates, change status, assembly/handling instructions and, if necessary, cleaning and packaging protocols. Delivery is carried out in such a way that your validation can begin without any additional effort.
