Last weekend, a niche-product of Bonsack Präzisionstechnik GmbH helped make the world championships at the largest ski-jump in the world in Vikersund, Norway a top success. For many years, we have worked on developing track-gouging machines for ski jumping and ski flying ramps.

These special machines gouge extremely smooth and straight in-run tracks in the snow and ice. This gives the ski-jumper an especially smooth surface to attain a very high speed during the in-run, both extremely important factors for a good jump. The International Ski Federation FIS once again gave the in-run track their highest praise. In addition to several ski-jumps in Vikersund, Bonsack track-gouging machines are also used here in Germany, in our home town of Brotterode for the Continental Cup and in Schmiedefeld.
