The rising popularity of our products and services among customers and strong demand have necessitated an increase in automation and optimization of our production processes. We therefore decided to demarcate the individual departments, to use our existing production space more intelligently and efficiently, and to make targeted investments in the latest manufacturing equipment.

Once this restructuring was finished, a new Quality Assurance department was established and equipped with a Zeiss 3D measuring machine and a Brown & Sharpe MicroXcel. To this, we added the DECKEL MAHO 80 eVo 5-axis machining centre, which was equipped with a laser tool measuring system among other extras. To improve repeatability, this machining centre is also equipped with the latest simulation technology and a high-sensitivity tool-monitoring system allowing reliable and high-quality manufacture of elaborate 3D milled parts in 3 layers. These measures have been carefully coordinated with the expansion of our programming capacities in the Tebis CAM system. This is our response to the sharply risen demand for tool components among renowned automakers and their suppliers. To keep our process monitoring and documentation in line with standardized procedures, we have manufactured to the ISO 9000/2008 standard since 2010, which will be documented with the initial certification of our company towards the end of this year. So that we can expand our activities into the production of medical products, we expect to be certified to ISO 13485 by mid 2012.

In the course of these measures, we expanded our team to 30 highly qualified employees so that we will continue to be as flexible as ever to the new customer demand. This means that, even in times of long supply bottlenecks, we will be able to produce high-quality precision parts, jigs, and semi- and fully-automatic special-purpose machines within acceptable delivery times. As of now, we are also able to supply partners in foreign markets with products such as automatic LED placement machines and function-testing machines.
